K9 Training Service Bintangor was founded in 2010 by Dr. Stainley Lee. Dr. Stainley Lee was raised in Bintulu, Sarawak. In 1994, he graduated with a B.S.
degree in Microbiology from Michigan State University. Dr. Stainley Lee received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University,
graduating with honors, in 1998. That same year, he stayed to the
Merrimack Valley and practiced Veterinary Medicine at the Andover Animal
Hospital from 1998 to 2006. He then left to join the Plaistow Animal
Medical Center until early 2010. Dr. Stainley opened his own K.9 Training Center with his friend (Joseph Lim), the SL K.9 Training & Boarding Center, which has been located in Bintangor since 2010.
Mr. Joseph Lim has been studying animal and canine behavior in
Kansas K9 Leap Grant Courses, Kansas City, USA. K9 Training Service provides
training that mimics a natural canine pack to help provide clear obedience for
any dog. He is share partner for our kennel. Our main focus to help owners connect and communicate with their dog
through natural behavior techniques.
K9 Training Service offers a variety of training techniques
that can be constructed to meet your dogs needs. We also provide some basic
health maintenance for your pet to help avoid unnecessary vet fees.
There are two levels of training that are standard courses
offered, yet private lessons can be provided as well. The following outlines
the course material.
Level 1:Level 1 offers basic training skills that cover most
canine needs. Some areas that are focused on are name recognition, sit, down,
stay, leave it / take it, drop it, proper walking skills, waiting at doors,
come when called, as well as basic health discussions.
This Training Overall Cost : RM680.00 included 15 days
boarding & Meals or RM280.00 2 hours daily basis (For 2 15 days)
Level 2:This level of training helps provide a higher level
of distraction and behaviour maintenance. Areas of focus are sit/stay when
leash is dropped, jumping, go lay down, extended stay after distraction, come
with distraction, at side, stand as well as nutrition and combining commands.
This Training Overall Cost : RM1,600.00 Included 30 days
boarding & meals. Boarding are needed to 100% focus on the dog.
Private Training: This training is designed personally for
the dog and owner to meet certain training and behavioral needs. This course is
offered in 4 or 6 week sessions.
This Private Training Overall Cost : RM25.00 per hour. 3
hours a day Monday-Saturday.
Dog Walking:
Dog walking is available as well to help promote a better
basis for training. Walking in itself can help promote better behavior as it is
the base structure in all training techniques.
It also is for those who may just need a helping hand in
getting their dog out while they are at work, running late, on a holiday or who
just cannot get out to walk their dog. Dogs will be on a structred walk to
promote better skills in obedience as well as challenge them to exhaust them
more quickly.
